According to police in Westfield, Massachusetts, a 7 year-old boy died this past Monday afternoon after the boy’s bicycle was struck by a dump truck in a tragic trucking accident.
Authorities say that the boy was riding a bicycle with his mother near the intersection of Montgomery and Crown streets just after 3:30 p.m. on Monday May 20th. At that time, a dump truck carrying a load of dirt struck the boy’s bicycle.
The boy, whose name has not been released, was pinned beneath the large motor vehicle. He was later pronounced dead at the scene of the truck accident.
