One person is dead after a train crashed into a truck late this past Thursday evening in Green Cove Springs, Florida. The Florida Highway Patrol said the accident involved an Amtrak train and a truck. The truck had two people inside when it was hit by the train; the passenger of the truck, 38-year-old Caleb Osborne, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck, Richard Tilman, 41 years-old, was seriously injured and taken to a local hospital. The train was heading from Orlando, Florida to New York City, New York with passengers on board when the truck drove into the path of the oncoming train, but none of those passengers were hurt.
